Compassionate Lactation & Newborn Support — Right Where You Are

Holistic lactation and newborn feeding care that honors both medical needs and the emotional journey of early parenthood.

How I Support You

Feeding your baby is deeply personal, and support should feel both knowledgeable and reassuring. I provide individualized lactation and newborn care that blends clinical expertise with real-life understanding of early parenthood. Each visit focuses on identifying what is truly happening, offering practical solutions, and helping you feel more confident in caring for your baby. Whether we are addressing feeding challenges, supply concerns, or evolving routines, care is always tailored to your family’s needs and delivered in a calm, supportive way.

Meet Katerina, your IBCLC

My work with newborns and their families began in 2014, when I started as a new graduate nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit. Over seven years in the NICU, I had the privilege of caring for some of the smallest and most vulnerable babies, while walking alongside families during deeply tender and uncertain moments. It was there that my love for lactation support and developmental care truly took root.

I later returned to school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and transitioned into pediatric primary care, where I was able to continue caring for babies and children in a more longitudinal way. After my husband’s eleven years of service in the Navy, we were grateful to return home to Nashville, where I now practice locally as a pediatric genetics nurse practitioner.

Amid all of these professional chapters, I experienced the most transformative one of all — becoming a mother. This season reshaped my understanding of feeding, recovery, and the emotional landscape of early parenthood in ways that no professional training alone could. It deepened my desire to support families with care that is both clinically informed and genuinely compassionate.

Through Pink Bus Baby Wellness, it is my greatest honor to share even a small part of a family’s story and to offer support during one of the most meaningful and delicate seasons of life.

Insurance & Direct Booking Options

Many families are able to receive lactation support through insurance coverage. Others prefer to schedule care directly. Pink Bus Baby Wellness offers both pathways so families can choose the option that best fits their needs.

Using Insurance Coverage (via The Lactation Network)

Some insurance plans provide lactation visits through The Lactation Network (TLN). If your plan participates, eligibility verification and scheduling will take place directly through their platform.

This option may be appropriate for families who wish to utilize insurance-covered visits or plan for ongoing support under their benefits.

Booking Directly with Pink Bus

Direct scheduling is available for families seeking concierge care, expedited availability, or support outside insurance pathways. This option allows for personalized care coordination and flexible visit planning.
